Outlook 2013 fails to send emails for GMail Account

Ive just updated my Office 2010 installation with Office 2013 RTM and Im having issues with getting outlook to send new emails for my gmail account. The error I get is :  

Task 'XXXXXX@gmail.com - Sending' reported error (0x80040201) : 'Unknown Error 0x80040201'

If I go and check my gmail account settings in Outlook then the wizard happily sends a test email. It will also send emails from my hotmail account.

I tried deleting the account and recreating it makes no difference - I still get teh error on send/recieve. I have checked the settings which align with the guidence on the google web site.

Any thoughts.
