Hello forums,
I have a problem with local pst imap files. We have a NAS at work and store project emails on it. Mailbox data files are present on the NAS and emails are moved to the data files through rule for incoming messages. Despite the fact that emails are removed from imap and stored on network, local pst files keeps the volume in it. We currently use only local profiles, so every windows profile keeps growing and it makes problems with free space. I know that we can manually delete the files and outlook will create new ones with only new data but this is a Spartan solution. We would have to delete several project pst files in over 100 window sprofiles. Some email clients use kind of maintenance procedures to shake off old data from these files. Does Outlook has any feature that would help or is there an effective solution under our conditions?
Thanks
John
