I converted email to IMAP when setting up OL 2013 which was upgraded from OL 2010. This is running on W8 Pro.
I have 2 mail accounts, both IMAP set up.
I have 3 data files. imapact1.ost, imapact2.ost, and popacct.pst (which is inactive but which I need for old emails, contacts, etc. act1 is set as the default. All other settings are the same for both IMAP accounts. Both use the same mail servers.
When I send an email from act1, it gets sent but it also stays in the Outbox. Messages that I reply to get sent but they also stay in drafts and the outbox. When I send from act2, the message gets sent, briefly appears in the outbox but then is removed from the outbox and does not appear in drafts.
Also rules don't run on incoming IMAP messages. I can run them manually but when new messages arrive that meet the criteria, nothing happens. (I am trying to move the messages to the POP .pst folder and remove them from the IMAP inbox.
Thoughts on how to fix?
