When I give a client a new computer, we set up Outlook to their old profile specs and it grabs their mail off of our servers. Works flawlessly other than AutoComplete. In order for their old address book to be re-implemented into the new Outlook, we copy
the old Stream_Autcomplete<(old)guid>.dat file then wait for the new Stream_Autocomplete<(new)guid>.dat to be generated. We can then grab the GUID from the new file, and replace the old GUID with it. This works, however we have to wait for the
new .dat file to be generated in order to grab the new GUID, which sometimes takes a while depending on how much data they had in their old Outlook. Is there anyway to predict what this GUID will be? Or, more simply, could we tell the new Outlook to use a
specific Stream_Autocomplete<guid>.dat file (this would just be the copy from their old computer)?
