I have a user that cannot get Outlook to fire up 100%. You start Outlook and it is stuck at the "Processing" section of splash screen. The problem has be with Outlook trying to open an e-mail. By default, we have reading pane enabled by default. I run outlook /safe (reading pane disabled) and it opens up and you can see your list of emails but you cannot open any of them. Once you try to open a message, it freezes Outlook. I disabled all the add-ins with no improvement. I log in as myself and I experience the same problem.
Update: If I wait 3-5 minutes for the processing screen, the page will open and Outlook will run smoothly. This happens every time you start Outlook. What is Outlook processing?
