A user (Outlook 2007, Exchange 2010) has set up a monthly meeting with no end date (3rd Wednesday of each month), booking a conference room to host it in. The conference room has automatically accepted the meeting and it appears in its calendar butfor no longer than six months; after this it has the time marked as free. Opening the series from the conference room's calendar it shows: Recurrence: Occurs the second Wednesday of every 1 month effective 13/02/2013 until 11/06/2013 from 14:30 to 16:30. i.e. despite the user scheduling the meeting with no end date and the other invitees being scheduled with no end date, the conference room (booked as a resource) has only been booked for 6 months.
I seem to recall a setting back in Outlook XP that allowed you to set the amount of time into the future that meetings were scheduled (default was 6 months), but as far as I can tell, this is no longer present. With the conference room being a much-used
resource, the user is obviously concerned that someone will schedule a meeting in the future that will clash with hers. How can I ensure that the resource is correctly booked for the length of the recurrence? Some users appear to be unaffected by this limitation;
this one's Outlook account is BlackBerry-enabled, if that makes any difference.
thanks
