I'm running Office 2010 Pro 64 under Win 7 64. I have two mail accounts under Outook: one to my company's Exchange server, the other to Hotmail, using the 64 bit Hotmail Connector.
Two days ago, I accidentally tried to sent a very large attachment via the Hotmail account, and it hung on the send. I set Outlook to Work Offline mode, and was able to cancel the send, then went back online. Since then, I can send from the Hotmail account OK, but cannot receive anything... it's permanently stuck in receive "Processing" state.
Fortunately, during all this my Exchange account has not been affected, and I can send/receive Hotmail using Outlook on a different computer system. So the problem is with my Hotmail client, not with the Hotmail server...
So how do I "reset" the Hotmail account under Outlook? Do I need to remove that account and re-configure it?
