1. Originally was running Outlook 2007, I changed and verified auto archive was disabled. In the event archive was enable, I checked the archive.pst file and it was blank so I know the sent emails weren't moved there.
2. I also checked Outlook Web App to verify the messages were also only saving a week. I checked for any Outlook rules and nothing there.
3. Next I uninstalled Outlook 2007 and upgraded to Outlook 2010. Created a brand new Outlook profile and this didn't fix the problem.
4. I then backed up her exchange mailbox and deleted it and also deleted her AD account. Re-created her AD and exchange mailbox.
5. Went back to user's machine, logged into new Windows profile with new AD account, setup new Outlook profile and then imported backed up .pst file into new mailbox.
Checked her mailbox today and sure enough the dam emails in the sent items are gone, only showing the last week. I also verifed no filters were turned on to just show only the last week, they aren't there and also not on OWA.
I also made sure in Outlook 2010 to highlight the sent item folder, click View -> then AutoArchive Settings and ensured Do not archive this folder is turned off.
Anyone have any ideas I would really appreciate it.
