I'm trying to import a calendar in .csv format that I've exported from outlook to iCal so I can see it on my iPhone (so all my friends and family don't disown me for forgetting their birthdays!). I understand the way to do this is to go via google calendar, this is a bit of an aside though....
When I try to upload it, I get a nondescript error message (failed to import events: processing error during upload).
When I open the .csv file in excel it looks v. irregular - all the content is in a format like this - ’e¸¦ÂÜT„êEéÂQ}[w&¢õQ•Ïùt¢Â!ÄY„ž
- is it encrypted? How can I get it into a usable format?
Any help gratefully received, I'm v scared of losing all my diary appts and getting into lots of hot water!
