I upgraded from Vista Home Premium with SP2 to Windows Ultimate. I have run the automatic update and all updates have been completed. Since my upgrade, I have been unable to open my Microsoft Outlook 2007.
I have
1: Uninstalled the outlook connector
2. Changed Outlook from the control panel removing Outlook from the computer.
3. I then changed it back (though the control panel) adding it back to the computer.
Prior to changing MS Outlook (removing from computer through control panel), I received an error about the outlook connector (sorry didn’t take exact not on error). Now that I have made the changes above I receive the following error:
“Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open Outlook window. The set of folders cannot be opened. An unexpected has occurred. MAPI was unable to load the information service msncon.dll. Be sure the service is correctly installed and configured.”
Any help in getting my outlook 2007 back up and running would be greatly appreciated.
