I had to restore my computer to factory settings from 3 years ago. I lost all of my email. I was able to reinstall everything except Outlook 2010. I purchased it separately from Office 2010 for Students and the backup disk I paid for did not
include the key. So I don't have the email, I don't have the code, I do have the backup disk, but the activation panel thinks I should use my office 2010 key code but that does not work. I called for support but the microsoft person hung up on
me when I tried to explain how your automated system assumes that the office key is all that is needed. I tried to use your website, but it has at least two instances where it says "if you downloaded it, click here", and there is nothing to click on.
I tried to use the Microsoft applet that will discover the product ID, but IE blocked the ActiveX app from downloading. When I switched to Firefox, the option wasn't there. I paid for outlook 2010. I have a right to use it or get my money back.
Can you help?
