Help - Get Hang when access certain folder via outlook

I'm not sure I'm posting on correct sub-forum or not.

When I want to attach file via outlook (using attachment button), my pc get hang. This happen only when I want to attach file from certain folders.
But that folder still in "my documents" folder.

Here brief of my system:
windows XP pro  under domain network
have a user priviledge
microsoft outlook 2003.

I'm not sure whether this is source of my problem or not, everytime I want to attach file on that "certain folders", I see on network statistic, system will build/make connection to domain server (using netstat tool).

any help please?
