This is a cross-post from the Outlook.com forum. Formatting might have gotten mangled in the copy/paste.
I apparently have a really "bent" interface between Outlook 2007 and one of my Outlook.com accounts.
I have two separate Outlook.com addresses: Chuck_Smith@Outlook.com (Chuck-underscore-Smith) and CWSmith@Outlook.com. Both are managed using Outlook 2007 and EAS, not webmail. In Outlook 2007 theChuck_Smith@Outlook.com is set as my primary address. The problem only occurs with theCWSmith@Outlook.com address.
If I forward an e-mail from the (Outlook 2007) Inbox of CWDavis@Outlook.com, the forwarded e-mail appears in the (Outlook 2007) Inbox and not the Sent folder. (Note - Conversations setting in Outlook.com is set to show messages individually.) Something else is *very* weird. The header of the forwarded e-mail in the Inbox (not Sent) folder is TOTALLY BLANK!
If I forward the e-mail to Chuck_Smith@Outlook.com it arrives normally and appears as a forwarded e-mail.
If I forward the e-mail to a third account that I use, which is at another ISP (EarthLink) and is also managed by Outlook 2007 using POP3, the e-mail arrives appearing identical to the original e-mail and not appearing as a forwarded e-mail. Looking at the header of the e-mail shows no trace of it ever having been touched by Outlook.com or Outlook 2007:

If I perform the same two forwards from within the Outlook.com webmail interface to the CWSmith account, everything works normally. The forwarded e-mails appear in the Sent folder (of the CWSmith account) and arrive appearing as normal forwarded e-mails. I even moved the original e-mail from the CWSmith Inbox to the Chuck_Smith Inbox (in Outlook 2007) and was able to forward it normally,
Is there anybody out there who is familiar with the guts of the EAS interface between Outlook 2007 and Outlook.com and who can explain/fix this problem? The CWSmith account is my "business" account, so I can't have forwarded e-mails appearing in the inboxes of my clients with no indication that the e-mail was forwarded at all, much less forwarded from me. Having forwarded e-mail appear in the Inbox folder rather than the Sent folder is also rather annoying.
Thanks!
