We have multiple users on Outlook 2007 with Exchange 2007 SP3. Some people can view their calendar appointments back to 2008, others only 12 months previous.
Everyone is going to shout "Archiving", but some of the users with 12 months only showing have never had archiving enabled and others that have or do, have had their .pst files imported into our archiving solution and the appointments are not in there. I also realise their .pst may be on another base unit, but we re-direct their "My documents" to our server, so this would only affect a small number of users, not the large-scale issue we are seeing.
The weird thing is Shared mailboxes, that have never had anyone logged on (Such as a room or resource mailbox) have appointments dating back as long as necessary, so it looks like itmay be archiving
Is there a "default" period that Outlooks displays past appointments? Is this changed by Dismissing reminders? Is there any other reason that you can think of that may contribute to this?
Thanks for any help in advance.
