I bought a new HP Laptop with Win 8. I have installed MS Office 2010. Email works fine most of the time but every couple of days, it starts to retrieve POP3 emails byte by byte. Internet Explorer works just fine at the same time. Sometimes restarting the computer eventually heals the problem for a few days and then it's back.
I have several other computers on the same router and they all work properly. (I also had the router replaced.) I have not built another profile yet but will try it if it will help.
What else can I do? Please advise asap.
