I removed everything including me that had Admin permissions for everything. This search function does not work. Windows 8 is a nightmare of issues as far as I'm concerned, and I'm told my warranty support period has run out. Support for Microsoft products should never run out.
I get this error code: 0x80096002 and I've tried the FixIt download for the 10th time. It fixes nothing. I also tried that link someone posted with success, but nothing happens when I run it at the command prompt. wuauclt/resetauthorization/detectnow
