Hello,
We have an important number of downgrade from Office 2010 to Office 2003 to do, and we have the issue referenced in KB article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2464597): You cannot open Outlook 2007 after you downgrade from Outlook 2010.
So after uninstalling Office 2010 and resintalling Office 2003, we have an error regarding the mail profile when the user launches Outlook 2003.
We would like to automate/script the resolution steps mentionned in that article, which are basically :
a - Removal of the old Outlook 2010 profile
b - Creation/configuration of a new Outlook 2003 profile
Can anybody advise a way to automate this ?
Would the following steps work ? :
a - Login script that would delete the registry key ..\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles as indicated here :
http://netport.org/?p=2019
b - Login script that would apply a a Custom Maintenance Wizard File (.cmw file) created with the Office 2003 Resource Kit as indicated here (http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/deployprf.htm#afterwards)
in order to create/configure Outlook 2003 profile
Thanks in advance
