Error- can not display outlook because of invalid XML

I get this error message everytime, I try to start MS outlook 2010.
"Can not Microsoft Outlook.  Cannot open the Outlook window.  Invalid XML, the view can not be loaded."

I tried to repair MS Office 2010.  That did not do anything.  What can I do?
