A client of mine has an issue with his junk mail filter on Outlook 2010. Although he has added junk mail offenders to the block list and added lots of email addresses to block, he still gets junk mail from the the same supposedly blocked addresses going into his inbox. It's as if the junk mail filter is off. He noticed the problem started once he removed MCafee from his desktop and added Norton Internet Security.
Adding emails to the outlook junk list has no effect. Clicking on the Norton tab within outlook and adding emails to junklist using that tab also does not work. The only way he can block someone currently is by going directly to the Norton consol and adding the emails to block in there. This obviously isn't ideal as he would need to do this long process every time he gets junk mail from a new address.
I don't know but I suspect the issue is with outlook as even with norton removed and then reinstalled the problem continued. Any ideas?
