I have tried to update the Tab spacing default from 0.5 to 0.25 but when I close it, it looses the setting!!!
What I have tried already:
1. I have opened a new email - changed the setting and saved. Did not work!
2. I have opened NormalEmail.dotm - changed the setting and saved. Did not work!
3. I have opened Normal.dotm - changed the setting and saved. Setting works in Word, but not in Outlook!!!
This is rediculous!!! I have searched this Forum for answers and found similar complaints related to NormalEmail.dotm. It seems that these issues are NOT IMPORTANT ENOUGH to MICROSOFT to fix them even with CUSTOMERS complaining about them. With a 'Ground Up' rebuild of Office in 2010, it seems that little problems like this should be a SNAP to take care of.
In one post (Outlook 2010 does (partial) not save to NormalEmail.dotm?) the customer got this answer "This is known issue with Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010, but there are no current plans to address it."
REALLY??? Get me an answer to my simple problem ASAP or give me my money back! As large as Microsoft's programming staff is, this should be NO PROBLEM.
