When I try to create a new email, or reply to or forward an email, I get the error message "The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists, restart Outlook". I am running Outlook 2003, connecting to our Exchange server. I have tried restarting, going back to an earlier restore point, even uninstalling and reinstalling Outlook, but still have the same problem. I ran a Malwarebytes scan in safe mode but it didn't find anything. My mail file isn't full - 597mb with a 2gb limit. When I run scanost, I get this in the message it puts in the Deleted folder: Can someone tell me what to try next?
