I've had this happen now on multiple machines. If I click on a mail-to link I'll get the compose message deal, I'll type my message and send it. Done... Then I'll continue browsing and most of the time close the browser and then minutes later re-open it and then I will sometimes see another compose message box open up for that address I clicked on a while ago. I do not have an exact time frame of how long before it does this since it seems to be a bit random, but I've been able to duplicate it multiple times on my machine. I also had one client ask me about this because it happens to him as well and with searching online I can't find any similar topics.
Client's Office version is 2010 Home/Home Office and my version is 2010 Pro Plus. (Version 14.0.6112.5000 32Bit)
Client was using Firefox on Windows XP, and I've had it happen both on IE9 and Chrome running on Windows 7 64bit
