Outlook 2007 re-downloads Exchange content on every startup

Hi guys,

First post in this forum, but looking forward to spending some time in here...

I have one user with this problem:

Everytime he start Outlook, it starts downloading from the Exchange server (Office 365). Updating Inbox: 1,07 GB remaining and counting down.

If I restart Outlook, it will start over, and not resume from where it left of.

I have tried to delete the mail profile, delete the folder: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook and then recreate the mail profile, but without luck.

During the process of it downloading, no new mails are coming into the Inbox. (webmail is working fine)

User never experinced the problem before, but it started in connection with him getting a new pc, and in that process swithced from XP to WIN7 (not sure if it is related though)

Additional info:

Server data size in Outlook says about 2GB

Only 1 Oulook.ost file in the above mentioned folder, and no new one gets created.

Outlook: 2007 SP2

OS: Windows 7 SP1

Hope someone has some good ideas, as I am out of them...

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Jesper
