We have one root and 2 childdomains. Every childdomain has several subnets.
Each subnet has it own domain controller..
Example: Amsterdam is a childomain, but we have a subnets configured for NewYork and one for London.
Outlook clients seems to connect only to de DC in amsterdam, and not the DC in their subnet.
All the DC's have the same roles..GC/DNS
Why doesn't outlook client connect to the DC in their subnet? Why would they connect to another DC??
I found an article "How to configure outlook to a specific GC server, or to the closest GC server" http://support.microsoft.com/kb/319206/en-us?fr=1
Does the outlook client always connect to DC in the subnet where the exchange server resides??
Thanx
