Hi,
I work for a school district, and we have just completed a migration of our email system to the live@edu (using outlook.com). The problem we are experiencing is delegating permissions to users to view and edit shared calendars on Outlook 2011 for mac.
On a PC, using Outlook 2010, we can add, change and delete permissions, but when using the Outlook 2011 for Mac client, whenever we try to edit permissions we receive the error 'Outlook cannot modify permissions on the Exchange Server. There was an error while attempting to modify permissions on the server.' This error is received by anyone using Outlook 2011 for Mac, but as I mentioned, will work fine if they use the PC version.
I am an owner of the calendars we are trying to edit, as well as an administrator, so it is unlikely that it is an account issue (especially as everything works fine on Outlook 2010 for PC). Some forums I have visited suggested there could be two Exchange accounts in Outlook, or an anonymous entry somewhere, but neither appears to be correct.
Has anyone seen this error before and are aware of a solution?
