Hi everyone
Are there anyone who knows if it is a possible way for work around the hyperlink restriction in outlook.
My problem is the followring. :)
I wish to make a link to a userprofile folder in outlook.. that is normaly not possible, because urls need a full path name.
But if i use the file:/// extentions it is possible (not 2 but 3 slashes ///)
The problem in outlook is that if I write the file:/// - i can't clik OK?
If i copy the path - file:///%25userprofile%25 - into the mail and hit space/enter and try to klik on the hyperlink nothings happens, and if i look into the hyperlink i can see that there arent any ulr adresse for the link, so ofc. nothing happens.
If i make a link in IE to file:///%userprofile% it is not possible to open the link, but if i type file:///%userprofile% in the adresse line it opens up the corret path, and so for chrome and firefox..
so does anyone knows if it is possible to make a link in outlook to the userprofile folder?
Thanks for your time :)
Best regards
Martin
