This morning, after finishing one email in my inbox, I pressed the delete key (just once)
I suspect an issue with the wireless keybord, but the computer acted as though the delete key were held down for more than 15 seconds.
Consequently, all my unread mail this morning disappeared to the deleted folder, but my problem is that almost all of my read mail that I purposefully left in my inbox also disappeared into the deleted folder as well. The emails are not lost, just merely jumbled with thousands of emails in my deleted folder.
I tried adding the Modified field in the deleted folder so I could search that way. The emails received since my send/receive executed when I logged in this morning are all there. There were 33 or so emails, all listed at the same modified time (11/07/2012 5:48am).
However, the older emails apparently did not get modified. One email that containted an appointment I knew I had today retained the old Modified date (10/3/2012), even though I know I had looked at the email last night to find the address.
Can anyone suggest a way to get the older emails located?
