Hello all!
Outlook 2010 32-bit
Exchange 2010 SP2, v14.2 Build 247.5
I have a user (UserA) with several shared contact folders. Whenever anyone tries to add a new contact to one of the shared folders (SubFolder1), the contact appears in UserA's default Contacts folder instead.
UserA tried to add a contact to SubFolder1, but the contact appeared in the default Contacts folder.
Other users can add contacts to the other shared contact folders (SubFolder2, SubFolder3) without any problem. UserA can add contacts to the other subfolders without any problem.
- I have run a mailbox repair on UserA's mailbox ("new-mailboxrepairrequest -mailbox UserA -corruptiontype provisionedfolder, searchfolder, aggregatecounts, folderview | fl") but there is no change.
- UserA can drag the new contact items from Contacts into SubFolder1 without any problem.
- The other users can create a new contact item locally and then drag the item into the shared SubFolder1.
- I do not think this is a permissions issue, as this happens for UserA as well.
- There are no Eventlog events on UserA's computer, nor the server.
- Both UserA and the other users were able to add contacts properly last week.
I am stumped, and have never seen behavior like this before. I rebooted the server for last week's IE patch and the issue persists.
If anyone has any advice, please let me know. Also, if I should repost this in the Exchange forum, please let me know.
Thank you!
