Symptom description:
I wanted to send emails in HTML format containing linked images, i.e., images are linked from a server and not embedded within the message.
For testing, I send the email to myself. Upon receipt, the images are not rendered by default, and there is a security warning that reads, "Click here to download pictures. To help protect your privacy, Outlook prevented automatic download of some pictures in this message".
However, I do receive lot of external newsletters that have images that are linked. And these images are rendered by default without any security warning. I would like to clarify that neither the email not its domain are in Safe Senders/Recipients list.
I have tweaked the registry to avoid displaying attachment sign (paper clip), and it worked.
Please suggest how not to get this "Click here to download pictures..." warning message.
