I find that Outlook is inconsistent in displaying events on the calendar for the birthday values in contact records. Some of birthdays are shown on the calendar while others are not. I opened a contact record for a contact that had the birthday field properly populated. I confirmed that the calendar did not show the birthday event. I then clicked into the birthday field and saved the record, although I did not change the value. After performing this action, the birthday was then shown correctly on the calendar. Due to this defect I cannot trust Outlook to remind me of birthday events for my contacts. Is there a way to get Outlook to perform reliably and consistently?
