We are not on a domain. Windows password policy is set to change every 90 days. Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 (different PC’s) both programs prompt for password after the windows password has changed. The outlook password is different from the windows login. Not using exchange. Using Pop3 and SMTP, no proxy settings available. Outlook password should never change, neither is it set anywhere to change. The Password policy has not always been in place. Outlook is on all PC’s for years and the Password policy has been implemented 6 month ago. With 100 users and all having to re-enter the password for Outlook is a pain in the neck. Anyone knows how to stop it or why the policy change is affecting Outlook?
