Facing a typical problem in one of my system out of 14 using winxp sp3 and outlook 2010. whenever user attaching a file with the email "Initializing places" message start coming and keep going . If we close that message windows it automatically closed the outlook.
Tried lot of if and buts solutions available on the net but all fails. It works for a day or two then again the same problem. Nothing is available at Microsoft web site.
Solution implemented as below:-
1. Repair the office.
2. Uninstalled completly and Installed again.
3. In file menu under option > add in>Manage> disable > all .dll file restart outlook some time it works for few days and then again the same issue.
4. Matched all the settings with the working system of same config. but still i don.t know how and why only in one system it is occuring .
5. Updated all the critical and normal update for office available at microsoft side.
Microsoft should release patch to resolve this problem.
