I'm not sure that I will be able to get an answer to this, and it may have to stay as is, but here goes:
Recently I began trying to clear up AD, deleting dead groups and nesting others and part of this was disabling email activated security groups and making seperate distribution lists.
Now, in our exchange environment we have an 'all_users' distribution list, but i noticed that this kept changing to a Security Group - Universal and I couldn't quite work out why, until I remembered that the 'all_users' group has rights assigned in Exchange to calendars and mailboxes.
I'm guessing that this is correct behaviour? Or is there a better way to go about this? As we technically now have 2 security groups for all users albeit one should just be a distribution list.
Thanks in advance.
John
