Hi,
Having browsed many webpages my problem persists. In short;
I have installed SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 Express (x86 / 32 bit) on a Win 7 32 bit machine. The BCM 2010 Tool (32 bit) is also installed on the server. The client have the BCM 2010 for Outlook installed (x86 / 32 bit version).
I have sucessfully created and shared a database on the SQL-Server using the BCM tool.
From my Outlook client the Business Contact Manager can connect to the server, my problem comes from the next stage, i.e. when I get a dialogue screen to "select database to connect to". The BCM 2010 Outlook screen at this stage says "cannot find any database".
So, I can connect to the server using my user credentials as normal but there is no listing of databases to connect to.
I have tried to re-install the SQL Server software but it does not change the above problem. There is no database listed.
Any help on this matter would be highly appreciated.
