We are currently running Outlook 2010 SP1 with exchange 2010 SP2 patch 3. We do not have indexing server side however we have Windows 7 indexing on Outlook. We are having problems where sporadically searching the person’s inbox on Outlook returns no results. If this is left for a couple of days the index will rebuild and searching will be available again. Is there any kind of logs that we can look at to find out why the search in Outlook is getting corrupt and more importantly where specifically the index is being held so we can exclude it from anti virus.
