Public folder Hyperlinks not working

Hi,

i have a strange problem. I have two different customer sites with public folders. From one site outlook Users can send public folder hyperlinks via email. Links look like this:

outlook://Public%20Folders/

Another customer cannot send hyperlinks to public folders because every public folder links includes his username:

Outlook:\\Public%20Folders%20-%20username

How can these public folder hyperlinks be corrected so that the usernames will removed
