Since the beta, the search feature in 64bit version of Outlook 2010 no longer works. Whenever I type in a keyword in the search field, it always returns 0 results. I have gone through numerous troubleshooting steps, and rebuilding the search index does not make a difference. I can see that "Microsoft Outlook" is listed in the "Included Locations" column, and under "Advanced Options" I can see that the msg extension is set to "Index Properties and File Contents".
I am out of ideas and need some help getting to the bottom of and fixing this problem. It's very inconvenient not being able to search.
I wonder, can this issue be related to the "Software Reinstallation Process" issue I am having? Because Office 2010 does not appear to be installing correctly, could this also affect the search functionality???
