I'm a bit confused (still) on what governs how these RSS feeds work.
- Outlook 2010 (x86) connecting to Exchange 2007 SP2.
- I setup an RSS feed for MLB.
- As part of troubleshooting, I granted myself permissions to someone else's mailbox, setup a new MAPI profile let's say for this different user, and then launched Outlook as this new user (while still logged into Windows as myself).
- This other user happened to have 22 RSS feeds.
- Eventually, when I launched Outlook again as myself, I noticed that I "inherited" these 22 new RSS feeds.
- We setup a parallel environment for Exchange 2010 (testing). Completely separate environment, different forest/domain with no trusts back to my production one.
- I configured my Outlook for Outlook Anywhere and made a connection to this new mailbox. This simulated an "outside" person connecting to this new setup.
- Somehow this new test mailbox inherited my MLB feed as well as the other user's 22 RSS feeds.
- When I check OWA for my mailbox on the production Exchange 2007 server as well as the OWA for the testing Exchange 2010 server, I see the RSS feeds in there as well.
How does the above happen? I assume something is being dumped into my profile and then it synchs back with my mailbox. How can I prevent this?
